Institute of Technology is a multidisciplinary research institution that gives broad-based education. The curricula are following: Science and Technology and Computer Engineering in Bachelors´s study, Computer Engineering and Robotics in Master´s and Science and Technology in Doctoral studies.

Institute of Technology unites computer engineering, robotics, electronics, material science and with Tartu Observatory space technology. Our students have a broad opportunity to work with scientists who are creating novel solutions in all fields. Practical courses give students the opportunity to gain necessary skills in order to work in industry during and after the studies.
Services: We offer research and development support on the basis of bilateral or multilateral contracts. Several support measures and wide range of research partners are available to enhance collaboration between university and companies. Our primary areas of development are robotics, automation, IT, mechatronics, space technology, smart buildings and environment, but also fashion Industry etc. We can provide full research and development cycle, starting from applied research, prototype development and finishing with full product development, including setting up a subcontracted production line.
