SUMMARY:ECS Brokerage 2023
DESCRIPTION:Following up on the European Forum on Electronic Components and Systems EFECS 2022 (24.-25. November 2022 in Amsterdam)\, the ECS Brokerage Event at Hotel Le Plaza Brussels on 7-8 February 2023 offers a networking meeting point to build consortia and share ideas. This matchmaking get-together is a perfect way to collaborate in regards to the KDT JU and Horizon Europe. \nProgramme is published in November. Registration will open in the beginning of December. \nThe ECS Brokerage Event combines the brokerage activities of the industry associations AENEAS\, EPoSS and Inside into one digital networking event dedicated to project proposals in the field of Electronic Components and Systems. \nThis event facilitates the ECS communities and collects all project proposals and experts together\, making it easier for the ECS research community to find and create information and project proposals. \nThe event is linked with the ECS Collaboration Tool; the online tool that enables users to initiate projects and invite partners\, or use the messaging system to look for partners or projects. \nAfter forming consortia\, online and at the ECS Brokerage Event\, project teams can assess the best mechanism for funding support for their project\, be it a National\, KDT-JU\, European Commission or EUREKA type funding.

SUMMARY:Mentor Day for Electronic System Design
DESCRIPTION:The workshop shall give engineers and product managers practical knowledge on how to execute projects of high complexity\, be confident in your deliverables\, and uncover routes for higher productivity. \nThe market forces rapidly increase product\, organizational\, process and supply chain complexity. So the design stage faces tremendous challenge due to “Shift Left”: tasks were once performed sequentially must now be done concurrently at earlier stage. \nThis reduces the potential for surprises later on\, which tend to be more expensive and more difficult to correct. \nThe workshop will look at new\, integrated technologies for analysis and verification deployed throughout the design process\, including schematic verification\, signal & power integrity\, thermal\, vibration\, manufacturability. We will also speak about collaboration inside the teams and with other domains\, like mechanical engineering and supply chain. \n \nFrom 18:00 we offer reception with snacks and beer. Participation is free of charge and requires registration. Number of available seats is limited – please wait for confirmation of your participation. \nRegistration link: https://forms.office.com/r/52swQ1UBvV \nSincerely yours\, \n\n\n\nArno Kolk \nManaging Director \nEstonian Electronics Industries Association\nDenis Lobzov \nDistribution Account Manager \nSiemens Electronics Design Automation GmbH
